Look back

On the times

We have had

And I dont know

How we let ourselves

Get so far down

This track

It hurts me to say

This truth

Shines down on me

And you

We are both guilty

Of being cruel

Your lies

And my talking down

To you

Again

We're breaking up

Again

But my love will never end

We are not back together again

Again

Take a look around

Tell me what you see

Do you like your surroundings

Or are you just stuck

Inside this penitentiary

With me

Inside my minds four walls

I see

I have to try harder everyday

To teach my kids

Everything

That they never

Taught me

It hurts me to say

Like love and happiness

You took and you used them

But you wanted more

Unecessary things

You purchace your fix

and grew

Abundantly filled

Everything drugs

Did to me

The horrible greatness

I've come to be

Drugs control you 

But I couldn't see

I thought I was in control

Of my own destitny

Sub consciously

I wanted it to end

But I lost control

I could only pretend 

That all was fine

That I was okay

The drugs I love 

And I feel no shame

The harder it seems

Each and everyday

Even more for me to put away

And each time I trip

I see I feel

More love for drugs

This happiness is real

My mind is blown

I'm so far gone

My blood is cold

I've been dead all along

No more songs

No more fun

All I am

Is a dead son

An impact on me

It gives an enlightened way of thinking

Gives me chemistry

Thoughts are stuck on my mind
